Ever see any of those cool Text logo's and wonder how they do that? Wondero no more. Here are some quick and simple exercises that are fun and will get you on the path to creating a few neat effects of your own. These are Designed around people that have Photoshop 5.0 So if you don't have it, this might be pretty useless.
We practiced these already!so this should be fun!
Usingthe magic wand tool, select the letters of the words. One wordat a time. then pick a dark yellow and a lighter yellow and usethe gradient tool to fill in both words.
Image>Tansform>Perspective.Move the top in and the bottom out until you have an image thatsatisfies you. The edges will look jagged while you do this, butafter you apply it should look nice and smooth again. :D
After a quick.. Image> Adjust>Mode>Indexed Color.Then Image>Export>GIF89aexport. The file is in it's final form, and at a somewhatsmall and tidy 22kb in file size. Not bad for a color image thatsize.
