JessicaTina Lockheart

Nicknames: Jessie, Jess, Ace,Shaq(since she plays a lotta basketball), Rascal, and Squirt
Age: 14
Birthdate: May 4, 1985
Height: 5'3"
Species: Human
Accent: Standard American; Susan Roman(voice of Lita from SailorMoon) would be the pefect voice over fort Jessie.
Living Relatives: Phil Polmfeather, the Mighty Ducks' manager, and Jessica's uncle.

Appearance: Jessica has waistlength brown hair. Light brown; lighter than the color of cinnamon. She tried to cut her hair several times, but it always growsback to her waist. Finally giving up, Jessie just tied her hairback into a ponytail, which goes a tiny bit past her shoulders. Two small strands of her hair from behind her ears fall downto the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her eyes are an emeraldgreen color.
Jessica doesn't have a good body build. There's barelyany meat on her bones at first, due to years of starvation fromher old life. But eventually, she'll be at a healthy weight. Her skin is a basic peach color. She's also scarred on her body. On her right eyelid, she has a red gash, and cuts and scrapesall over her arms and legs.

Personality: This girl is theULTIMATE tomboy! Well, she DOES have long hair, but she wouldcut it short if didn't grow back fast like a weed. She DRESSESlike a boy, TALKS like a boy, WALKS like a boy, and ACTS likea boy. Heck, she even EATS like a boy. She eats a lot; mostlysugar, which causes her go VERY hyper and crazy. But she burnsof what she eats by playing a lot of sports and chasing Nosedivearound the Pond. She's also a prankster; likes to pull jokeson people. Some of the time she's also VERY aggressive. JessieLOVES to fight and wrestle. She pretends to act like the originalstreet tough kid, due to the way she was born, raised, and treatedmost of her life. But deep down, she's really just a lost andlonely little girl, who only wants a mom and dad who'll love herdearly. She doesn't like to talk about her past at all; it's toopainful to her, and when she does, she starts to cry. She doesn'taccept charity from others; thinks of it as an insult to her.

Weapons: Jessie uses a basicPucklauncher, a sling-shot(like the one from Dennis the Menace.;) and a pocket knife she stole from her dad a long time ago,but at times, she'll just use her fighting abilities and wrestlingskills. Right now, she's taking Judo lessons, and everyone aroundher wishes that she didn't.
Attire: Jessie's not allowed to fight with the others on theirmissions against Draguanus, since her uncle forbids her. ButJessie, living on the streets of Chicago for fourteen years, canhandle herself. When she sneaks off into battle, she wears abasic white tank top, with a red dragon on it, Japanese writingon the bottom of the dragon. She also wears gray gloves, witha communicator strapped to her right wrist. Her pants are semi-tightones, which are the bottom half of her do bok(Korean for karateuniform). They're black, with Japanese writing on her outer rightthigh. She wears white boots as well.
For everyday wear, Jessie just wears a regular white T-shirtwith a big red Nike symbol in the middle, light blue jeans, andregular sneakers. Sometimes, when it's cold, Jessie'll wear awhite jacket over her shirt, with the sleeves black.

History: Jessica was born inChicago, Illinois. The side of the neighborhood where she grewup in was a VERY lousy one. It was filled with crime, murder, and more. Jessie and her family were very poor, barely havingenough money to survive on. All they could afford was a lousyapartment, little food, and rags for clothing. In fact, thatwas the basic life for EVERYONE who grew up in the lousy sideof Chicago.
Jessica's mom, Meranda, who was Phil Polmfeather's older sister, always tried to hang on to hope that their lives would improvesomeday. She and her mother shared a very close relationship. In fact, if it weren't for her, Jessie would've probably turnedout to be worse than she is today. Every night before Jessiewent to sleep, Meranda would sing her sweet lullabies. She alwaysencouraged Jessie to never give up hope, and to see things withher heart; not her eyes. When Jessie was five years old, hermother gave her a special type of locket; a WISHING locket, accordingto Meranda. She told her that if she wished on the locket hardenough, the wish would be locked up inside the locket. Then, when it's time, the wish would come true.
A week after Jessica turned eight, Meranda died of breast cancer. Now, Jessie was stuck living with her cruel father, Marcus JosephLockheart. Marcus never loved Jessie at all. He only kept heralive because he wanted someone to cook and clean up for him. Since that day, Jessie's life became a living nightmare.
All her father ever did was drink alcohol; either whiskey, orbeer. He would always abuse Jessica either physically, or emotionally. Or sometimes, if he was drunk enough, BOTH. The way she keptbeing treated was what made her so aggressive and tough thesedays. After her father finished hitting her and fell asleep onthe worn-down couch, Jessie would hang on the rusted stair balcony, crying her heart out. When she was ten, she used her mother'swishing locket. She looked up at the starry sky, and begged notonly to the locket, but to the Heavens, that they would take heraway from Chicago; away from her father.
Four long and agonizing years had passed since then. Jessica,no longer able to accept the life she was forced to live, decidedto leave her home forever. She had just reached the doorway whenher father demanded to know where she was going. She told himthat she was leaving home and never coming back. Her dad wasdrunk at that time, and, angered at those words, shoved her tothe floor and started to pound the life right out of her.
Jessie was about an inch from her life when the police invadedher home, and saw what was before them, drove Jessie to the hospitalfor her to recover, while her father was put under arrest.
A few weeks later after Jessie was healed enough to be able tospeak, she testified against her father in the Chicago Courts. The jury sentenced Marcus Lockheart to a lifetime in jail forchild abuse, child neglect, and attempted murder, with no chanceof parole. The court's judge, unable to send Jessie to an orphanageOR a foster family, decided that it would be best for her to moveto Anaheim to live with Phil Polmfeather, her uncle.

Good Points: Jessie havingGOOD points? Well...she's a tough fighter, and she doesn't giveup that easily. Her ability to play a lot of sports helps herto dodge a lot of attacks thrown at her, and, since she's nowa purple belt in Judo, can beat up nearly everyone. Since she'slived in the rough side of Chicago all of her life, she can defendherself pretty easily. She's also pretty good at stealing thingswithout others noticing, and can get in and out of sticky situationsand small escape holes.

Bad Points: Jessie's WAY tooboyish. Sometimes, her aggressiveness gets carried away. Shecan be a little TOO anxious to fight as well. No one likes thefact that she can be a little thief and escape artist(see goodpoints from above). She can guzzle down half of a two liter ofSprite or Pepsi in less than five minutes. That puts her on amajor sugar high, making her act all hyper and crazy, which canlast for nearly two hours. She also snaps back at people at times. She HATES it when people get on her case, and is VERY reluctantto say 'sorry' to anyone. She's a lot weaker than she thinksshe is. She claims that she can take care of herself withoutanyone to help her, but in the end, reluctantly accepts help fromothers.

Likes: Nosedive(on a friendshipbasis), her Uncle Phil, soda, chocolate, sports; mostly basketball, football, and hockey, comics, jeans, judo, dogs, cats, English(it'sthe ONLY class where she's allowed to express herslef) wrestling, and fighting. She also misses her mom terribly.

Hates: The Saurians(duh!),Nosedive when he over does it on the caffeine, Duke's corny jokes, her father, Wildwing getting on her case, Phil being over-protectiveabout her, not being allowed to fight the Saurians, skirts, dresses, homework, having to study, and Biology.
