Personality:
She's actually very warm and friendly when you get to know her well. At school though, she's rather high profile in the sense that she's a top notch member of a very exclusive and close knit sorority, The Coven, but she never passes up a chance to make other friends. She's a romantic and easily touched by simple things, flowers to make her feel well, a note saying hello and all the little things that some people take for granted.
She's particularly close to Hacker and Deanna, being that they are to her a brother and sister. She enjoys the company of the rest of the group and adores Castel and Wildwing. She also never passes up a chance to strike Phil at any given time. And though she shares similar complaints about appearances and photoshoots, she'll never really admit that she enjoys them.
Besides loving hockey and everything that goes with it, Nyre also has a passion for music and the arts. She can dance (ballet, a little jazz and hip-hop/modern) since she was given the opportunity by Drake and Krysta to learn; She also writes poetry and stories… and the most - songs. She sings with her heart and soul and dreams to someday be a respected recording artist.
Background:
At the age of five, she lost her only family, her mother in a freak car crash and the only memorabilia left for her to keep is the silver cross necklace hung around her neck. From the ages seven to twelve she'd been shuffled back and forth from foster home to foster home, always neglected and taken for granted.
Misunderstood.
At age thirteen she was placed by the orphanage in a special skills program specializing in computer technology called ‘The Center’. And there she linked up with Hacker Randall (age 18 at the time), a computer genius, and Deanna Kerse (age 12 at the time), an impressive gymnast and like Hacker, a genuis when it came to computers. Both later became two of her most trusted confidantes. In ‘The Center’ she learned to enhance all her skills in programming and accessing software and getting around the internet by finding loop-holes.
Drake Freewind (22), the founder of the organization, had set ‘The Center’ up to find the cream of the crop, the best of the best of those teenagers who could easily learn and manage with the technology. Why? He was creating a mini-strike force to assist in any way to lower the crime rate within the city, and later to be an anonymous help to the famous Mighty Ducks in their assault against Dragaunus. Once formed, STROBE (see profiles or click here), a group of six individual teenagers, helped the Mighty Ducks by tipping them off with the clues and information they'd gathered when on a mission. All the information was somehow left in the database of Drake One and often left with the line ‘we remember the honor’.
While the Mighty Ducks are left wondering about their mysterious helper/s, Nosedive is admitted into the Anaheim High School where his human, female friend Mook, studies. On the day of his arrival, Nosedive gets to know a young girl who's friends at the Anaheim Teen Nightclub are a weekend band called STROBE and by day are the Wolverines, a slightly famous, local street hockey team.
That member of the band Nosedive is closest to soon turns out to be the band's female lead, Nyre Leviste, or Angelbaby as she is known as onstage, which is also coincidentally is the code name of their mysterious informant, but the young duck brushes it off.
The band makes a guest appearance to sing the National Anthem and to basically cheer for the Ducks at one of the games, a simple request from Nosedive after hearing the group play at the Nightclub. As the new promotional band during break time at the games, Nyre and the other band members soon are regular visitors over at the Pond.
Dragaunus strikes again and half of the team (Nosedive, Duke and Mallory) end up captured, while the other half (Wildwing, Grin and Tanya) is left badly injured. Searching for ways to save their friends and get things back into order, STROBE come into the light and assist the three remaining ducks. (Want the whole story? Click here to check out ‘Allies’.)
After their victory in defeating Dragaunus for the ‘nth’ time, Drake Freewind comes clean and is greeted warmly by his former teammates and friends -- the Ducks.

Nyre also admits that it was she who tipped them off about the break-ins at the several laboratories and the anonymous phonecalls and messages via computer to both Tanya and Wildwing.
Impressed by her leadership skills and her calm control, Wildwing and the rest of the team develop quite a relationship with the petite, young human and her other companions and soon after, STROBE teams up with the Ducks on ice and the rest… is history!

"I looked over those magazines and I have only one comment, oh so great one, *pauses* scarcity of the pictures will make fans wants more. And making them dress in designer clothes instead of those weird pieces of cloth you have sewn together make the pictures more… how do you say, appreciating?"

"Sometimes I think that I should have died with my mother… *smiles softly* … but then I think that if I had… I wouldn't have met this wonderful family and all the other friends I have."
Said *of* her:
"She sure is secretive of her feelings."
"Don't worry Cas, she loves you as a mother, she's just mixed up about everything."
"Like dad?"
"Yeah, Wildwing's one. The rest is worry on how she should treat you."
"You know mom well?"
"She's my sister."
"Whoa! You're Red13??? Man, And I thought I had you figured out!"
"I love that kid like a sister… even if she is human an' all."
