He has a slim buildand does not look threatening, other that his alien appearance.

A fancy pair of eyeglasses complete the ensemble. He carries a small pouch containing a small sketchbook and a downloaderdevice that he collects traded information in. on his belt isa little pen-like gadget that allows him to 'slip' in-betweenrealities, this is his version of a dimensional gateway generator.

He's into a little of everything, commerce, quantum physics, fine art and fine coffees. He draws little sketchesof his many travels and keeps them in a little sketchbook in abag he carries with him.
(The best example of Jyaak Auburn to be found on television wouldbe the character of Augur from 'Earth: Final Conflict', minusthe lecherous tendencies)
HISTORY & PROFESSION: Jyaak Auburn isin the business of inter-reality-info-brokering. This means thathe travels to different realities for valuable information andtechnology. Once he finds something of value he trades with the'locals' for permission to copy the information and bring it backto his reality to be sold to the highest bidder (usually the government).
He invested in Inter-Reality Corp. when they first went into business.Since then he's become a major stockholder in the company, makingmore than a pretty penny for himself in the process. He's traveledto and traded with more realities than most ducks can dream of,and has the bank account to prove it! Having traveled I.R. forso long he barely gets to see home anymore. He's in it, not somuch for the money, but for the thrill of the 'big trade'.
HIS WORLD: The reality that he comes fromis at least two to three hundred years ahead of the Brotherhood'sreality in terms of technology. His homeworld isn't called Puckworld, rather it's simply referred to as the 'Birthplace'. The averageweather on Jyaak Auburn's homeworld is usually overcast, greyand very very windy. The jetstream often touches ground and sweepsthe countryside. This is why you wouldn't see much vegetationhigher that a few feet on Jyaak Auburn's homeworld. All the plantsare bent to the side and hug the ground to make them more aerodynamic. All structures appear like overturned boats with their keels inthe air and their hulls shoved into the ground.
POSSIBLE SCENARIO: Jyaak Auburn arriveson Puckworld to do business with the Brotherhood, rather thanthe current government. After he finds the level of technologyand scientific knowledge unsatisfactory he gets ready to leave. However, a BotB member secretly offers to sell him some interdimensionaltechnology stolen from the Saurians. Jyaak's interest is peaked. When the BotB member demonstrates a functioning interdimensional gateway it interferes with Jyaak's inter-reality module and scramblesit. J'A'K Aw'B Rn is stranded on Puckworld until he can fix hisI.R. module.
