Description: A been-there-seen-it-all, world-weary old widow.  Born in 1853 to travelling performers, she grew up on the road.  She joined the Flora Dora dancing girls when she was 16.  She tried several other jobs (including waitressing and being a seamstress) before her fondness for gossip and eavesdropping took her into the newfangled field of electronic communication devices.  In her time, she helped develop both the concept of the Hertzian Wave application and the vibrating telephone.  And she's been married something like eight times (whew!).
